This wimpel was created for Ari Taff, in honor of the occasion of his Bar Mitzvah, January 3, 1998-5758. The design, inspired by the graphic image on his invitation, reflects the importance and centrality of Israel and Jerusalem in his family life. Family member names, set into this theme, are displayed as well, on the fabric length. The wimpel prayer includes Ari’s personal data and supportive wording for continuing Judaic growth.
The open field in and around the words is apropos to the function of a wimpel. As the owner continues living his life, significant milestones should be noted in related locations that surround the prayer.
